Shunsuke Akiyama

     Shunsuke Akiyama is a filmmaker, editor. He was born in Japan and moved to NY to dream about studying film at Columbia eight years ago.

He graduated from Columbia in 2013 majoring in Film Studies. His thesis was about Akira Kurosawa's Samurai movies. After graduating from Columbia, he decided to attend Digital Film Academy to study Film Production.​
He has knowledge about a lot of films not only American Films but also International Films. He especially likes doumentary films. He used to work for IFC documentary series and some notable Film Festivals such as Tribecca Film Festival.

He is familiar with Final Cut Pro X and Red Camera. He also learns After Effects and Photoshops.

Shunsuke likes watching basketball, doing workout, eating Japanese food with Japanese vodka.
